Dr. Tyler Veldkamp

Dr. Veldkamp graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed a three-year reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis while serving as chief resident. His clinical interests and training include ankle instability; Achilles tendon disorders; foot and ankle trauma/fracture care; sports medicine injuries; foot and ankle deformities; hallux valgus (bunion) conditions; hallux rigidus (great toe joint arthritis); arthroscopy of the foot and ankle; toe contractures (hammer toe deformities); tendon disorders; foot and ankle arthritis; cartilage repair; and diabetic foot care.

Dr. Veldkamp appreciates the opportunity to custom-tailor individual treatment plans for his patients. His goal is to ensure that every patient he encounters feels well cared for and, moreover, cared about.

Dr. Veldkamp resides in Brookfield with his family. He grew up in Oostburg, Wisconsin near Sheboygan and attended Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI for undergrad. An active upbringing and involvement in sports led to his interest in Podiatry. Outside of the office he enjoys the outdoors, playing and watching sports, spending time with family, and involvement in church life.
