Dr. James Vavra

Dr. Vavra has been in practice for over 30 years. He graduated from, then Carroll College in 1989 and then Podiatric medical school in 1993.

He has always had a strong interest in the treatment of pediatric foot care and sports medicine. He currently is the podiatric physician advisor for Biomotousa.com. From there his interests took him to wound care and offloading diabetic wounds and preventing ulcers in the lower extremity. He has worked with high school athletes to prevent injury and increase performance.

• Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery
• Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons

Dr. Vavra served as the Director of the Podiatric Residency Program of Greater Milwaukee from 1997-2001.

Dr. Vavra resides in Mukwonago with his wife Denise, a physical therapist, who helps run and maintain the MLS laser offered in the office. He has 4 grown children, the three daughters in healthcare and son a computer engineer. He enjoys making his own wine, golfing, boating up north and fulfilling his Christ centered life.
